Global Mom Bloggers was founded by Maria Bailey, one of the most recognizable names in the mom market. As the mother of 4, Maria has spent more than a decade attempting to empower moms at home, in business and in life. She was named by Nielsen as a member of the Power 16-Pack of Most Influential Moms and as one of the "must follow moms on Twitter" by multiple organizations. Each month Maria speaks to 8 million moms via TV, radio, print, and online media. She is the host of Mom Talk Radio, the most downloaded parenting podcast on iTunes and the only nationally syndicated mom radio show, the founder of MomTV.com and the author of Marketing to Moms, Ultimate Mom, and Mom 3.0.
Maria came up with the idea for Global Mom Bloggers after traveling the globe and meeting with mom bloggers in many different countries. She has hosted mom blogger meet-ups in the UK, Europe, South Africa, and virtually around the globe via technology. She realized that mom bloggers are fascinated by moms in other countries and seek answers to popular topics such as building an audience, generating revenue, and reviewing products for companies. They want to know how they differ and how they are the same. It only made sense to create a community that would bring international mom bloggers together in a fun and welcoming environment.
