In today's economy, it's tougher than ever to take a family vacation without breaking the bank! What are some of your favorite trips for some "frugal family fun"?

-Play tourist in your own town or take a vacation just a few hours from home.
-Sometimes there are great deals for hotels and theme parks for state residents.
-Always do a google search for coupons and special offers for the area you're going. It's nearly impossible not to find a coupon for something you had in mind.
-Go in the off-season if possible.
-AAA discounts are offered all over the place, but it's easy to forget to ask about them.
-Do your research! There's always an affordable vacation option out there - you just have to find it.
